Family Tylidae
Tylos neozelanicus Chilton, 1901
North Island. Nocturnal species, it is active on ocean beaches at night; also, under tussock grass near the beach (Chilton, 1901).
Uropods not visible dorsally. Epimera of pereonites 2-7 demarcated
from tergites (see the "Pereonites" image). Animal can roll
into a ball.
